About

I’m Julia. I’ve been working in marketing for over 20 years, for organisations big and small. I specialise in helping small, ethical organisations achieve their goals using big company marketing techniques.

I studied Marketing and Communications at university and worked in marketing roles for universities and publishers before becoming Head of Digital Marketing for publisher, Collins Education and then Head of Marketing and Communications for charity, Catch Up.

I set up number12 marketing 14 years ago and have since worked with over 40 clients across the education, charity, environmental and leisure sectors, on everything from marketing strategy, brand management and website development, to production of marketing materials, events and content.

I like showing organisations who are making a positive impact how you can use the same tools and techniques used by big companies to get results, whatever your budget or ambition.
